With deep roots across Africa, City & Guilds began its journey in the early 1950s, providing certification in East Africa.

Since then, we have been established as the leading skills awarding body, setting the standard across Africa and around the world.

In 2014, City & Guilds acquired Kineo South Africa, which enabled us to strengthen our offer to employers providing workplace learning.
