What Is Involved In Studying This Course?

This level will suit you if you are qualified as an electrician, and have some experience working either as an electrician or in a related field. You want to prove your skills in inspecting, testing and verifying fundamental electrical installations.

The Level 2 Certificate in Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Verification consists of one core unit:

  • Fundamental initial verification of electrical installations.

It covers topics including:

  • health and safety
  • inspecting electrical installations
  • testing electrical installations.

For the Level 2 Certificate in Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification, you'll undergo a multiple choice test and a practical assessment.

What Is Involved With Delivering This Course?

To deliver a Vocationally Related Qualification (VRQ) you'll need to provide your learners with a suitable learning environment and the resources they need to complete the practical and theoretical aspects of the qualification. You will also need qualified internal assessors.
