Each pathway provides learners with the opportunity to demonstrate competency in their chosen profession. The routes are suitable for a wide range of employers and include manufacturing, refurbishment and servicing of a wide range of systems.
You will learn in the work environment, or will need access to suitable tools and equipment.
Assessment will also be through a portfolio of evidence gathered to meet the criteria of the qualification.
Which level is right for me?
Level 2
You are working in aeronautical engineering, perhaps as a semi-skilled aerospace production worker or aircraft mechanic/technician. You have some relevant knowledge and skills, usually from a role where you've been supervised.
Level 3
You are working as a skilled aerospace production worker, trainee licensed aircraft maintenance engineer or aerospace engineer. You have a great deal of technical skills and knowledge and work with minimum supervision.
