Digital credentials are automatically issued to learners who have successfully completed programmes and qualifications with City & Guilds.
We use our digital credentialing platform to issue our credentials by email to successful learners. Look out for an email from City & Guilds to start sharing your credential online with peers, potential employers, and customers.
To issue digital credentials to learners City & Guilds require a valid email address at the time of registration. Please contact your provider or employer if you have not been issued a digital credential following the successful completion of a programme or qualification.

Add your credential to your mobile phone wallet in a few simple steps:
Your training provider should have given your email address to City & Guilds or ILM so that you can receive your digital credential. When you receive your email:
- Click on the ‘View your credential’ button in the email, it will take you to your credential on the Accredible platform
- Scroll to the ‘Options’ menu and select ‘Add to Mobile Wallet’, or
- View the preview, and confirm the addition of the credential to your mobile wallet
If on a Google or Android mobile phone:
- Click on the ‘View your credential’ button in the email, it will take you to your credential on the Accredible platform
- Scroll to the ‘Options’ menu and select ‘Add to Mobile Wallet Preview’ or ‘Add to Google Wallet’
- Click on the wallet icon (fix or ignore any error messages)
- Select ‘Add’ when prompted to ‘Add loyalty card’
