City & Guilds strengthens support for Apprentices through new partnership
City & Guilds is pleased to announce its support for the Association of Apprentices (AoA) as it joins the Association as a Founding Partner.
10 February 2025
The AoA was launched three years ago to connect apprentices across the UK to promote peer support. Now with nearly 30,000 members, the Association comprises a community of over 140,000 apprentices through its partnerships.
It works to create a powerful, user-led community to help apprentices fulfil their potential, through meeting apprentices’ needs in terms of support networks, professional development and career awareness - offering resources for personal development, mental health, well-being, and off-the-job training.
Emily Rock, CEO, Association of Apprentices, said:
“AoA is proud to welcome City & Guilds as our final Founding Partner. The partnership marks a significant milestone in our journey to empower apprentices across the nation. City & Guilds’ input will be invaluable in shaping our future initiatives and strategies, and we thank them for their commitment to enhancing the apprentice experience.”
Kirstie Donnelly MBE, CEO at City & Guilds, said:
"We are proud to join AoA as a Founding Partner, and will be supporting the Association as they develop their plans to help apprentices manage challenges, expand their networks and achieve their career goals – and crucially, increase the impact of apprenticeships for learners, businesses and the country as a whole."
