The Level 3 Information Communication Technician (ICT) apprenticeship is designed for apprentices looking for a career in the operation of IT and/or telecommunications systems, including hardware and software.

There are three pathways within the ICT standard – Support Technician, Network Technician and Digital Communications Technician.  The Support Technician role focusses on resolving user queries and faults in a helpdesk context. A Network Technician can be desk-based as well as requiring visits to client premises to resolve issues, install networks and install and update software. A Digital Communications Technician specialises in resolving faults and issues in communications systems, including those used in a military/defence context.

Our resources for our Information Communication Technician apprenticeship will give you the guidance you need to support apprentices through their on-programme learning, build their confidence and competence to ensure a quality learning experience in preparation for End Point Assessment (EPA).

Our high-quality, rigorous EPA can be delivered at a convenient time for your apprentice.  As part of our EPA service we provide a suite of guidance documents and preparation tools to get your apprentices ready for EPA.
