To earn a qualification, you choose a specialism from: Agriculture, Arboriculture/Forestry, Ground Care, Fixed Plant and Storage and Construction Plant Maintenance.
These qualifications are assessed in the workplace. Units will be assessed by the gathering of work-based evidence into a portfolio. The authenticity, sufficiency and validity of the evidence will be judged by the assessor.
Learners taking the qualifications as part of an apprenticeship must also undertake independent assessment. At Level 2, this is a multiple choice paper; at Level 3, there are written papers and an assignment.
