Since it launched, it has delivered more than 500 apprenticeships in areas such as Software Developer, Software Technician, Network Engineer, Software Tester, Technical Sales, Digital Marketer and Infrastructure Technician. 

Matching apprentices with employers

Intequal work with employers at every stage of the journey to recruit and train the best apprentice for each company.

Intequal gather requirements from the company, then source, interview, and give a preliminary assessment to candidates before arranging a face-to-face interview with the employer.

Once an apprentice is chosen, Intequal continue to work with the company throughout the programme, providing training, assessment and advice for the company and the apprentice.

Pathway Planning

Every apprentice works with a line manager and a ‘Pathway Planner’ to ensure that their learning and development is on track.

Pathway Planners are key members of personnel who understand the technical, skills and knowledge requirements of the apprenticeship and how this is applied in the workplace to benefit both the apprentice and the business.

They monitor the process from beginning to end, starting with building the calendar of training events apprentices must attend, target exam dates and stretch activities.

Group and one-to-one sessions, tuition and review meetings all form part of the review and assessment process. 

Steps forward

Intequal has a 100% success rate against standards delivered including the country’s first distinction in digital marketing. 90% of Intequal apprentices are offered a permanent role in their business on completion of the programme, and businesses observe increased productivity and an opportunity to build talent for the future.
